The beach was fairly crowded each day we were there but we never had anyone within 50 feet of our setup, so we had plenty of privacy.
This unit is in the Ocean Place building that is closest to the Ritz Carlton, which means the beach area down from the unit has less traffic. One nice feature is the closet outside of the unit where umbrella, beach chairs and other beach items can be stored so that they don't have to be brought into the unit- much appreciated. It is advertised as a penthouse unit its furnishings, crown mouldings, bedding, and patio lived up to that description. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and execution, so that there were no surprises from check-in to check-out. And it was a real pleasure working with Mock's Amelia Vacations, from start to finish I can't say enough positive things to say about them. What an incredible vacation we had in Unit #32 at Ocean Place in Amelia Island ! The unit was exceptional with nice appointments and extraordinary views.
